About the Course

• The competition involves various terrain types, including single-track tracks, private dirt roads, and public highways. It is important to understand that these are NOT closed off, nor is traffic regulated. Riders should respect all local traffic regulations and rights of way.
• La Ruta signage is the only permitted guide for the course.
• Racers must follow the official La Ruta signs placed along the course. Racers should keep their eyes open for official signposts to avoid getting lost.
• Using an alternative route or shortcut will result in disqualification.
• La Ruta is NOT responsible for any other type of directions, whether personal or from some other kind of signage.
• The organization will have staff stationed adequately with visible material (flags), in strategic points of the course, like road crossings, intersections, etc.
